Irish toast - There are good ships and there are wood ships, the ships that sail the sea, but the best ships are friendships and may they always be.

vintage art glass gem magnet article

I also got some bags of glass gems from a Dollar Tree yesterday. Which for those of you who don’t know, everything in a Dollar Tree is actually a dollar. :D They aren’t good enough for nice pendants but I was able to make some very cute magnets with vintage pictures I got from the New York Public Library Digital Collection.

Gerstner Tote Chest

From Garrett Wade advert.

We are big fans of Gerstner products here at Garrett Wade—they’ve been making high quality wooden tool chests since Harry Gerstner founded the company in 1906, and for the last 50 years have really stood alone in their field. We have carried a variety of their products for a while now—they are great to look at, extremely well-made, and won’t break the bank. This is a handsome and traditionally-styled small ‘tote’ case with a top handle for easy transport. Gerstner’s Steel protectors on all 8 corners (plus raised feet on the bottom corners) add to the longevity of the box and enhance its visual appeal. The hinged lid (with steel latch) sits open at a comfortable angle for unobstructed viewing and access. A shallow sliding tray keeps your smaller items separate, and a black felt lining on the interior bottom, inside lid, and tray adds protection and keeps the rattling to a minimum.

This is a great starter tool case, or simply one for your smaller or more prized tools. Whatever you use it for, it will really last and be something to pass on. Made right here in the USA from lightweight and exceptionally strong Oak. These are very handsome and useful, and are available at this price for a limited time only. Get them while they last.
