don potter Spanish Grammar by Eric V. Greenfield.
If you are studying Spanish on your own, you will find Spanish Grammar (1942, 1943) by Eric. V. Greenfield very helpful. I found this book very helpful in my early Spanish studies, it is also good for basic vocabulary and comprehensive grammar review. It built around a graded reader that teaches high frequency words and comprehensive college level grammar. This is the program I use to teach Spanish to our Middle School Students.

Powerful exercice that will help you. Practise the way I tell it in the video and don’t give up, A part from this, you can complement your training with the next exercise that teachers use when native people have problems rolling their “r” when they are children. First, you need a pen then open your mouth, curve your tongue up gently, without too much tension, and touch the roof of your mouth, afterwards put the pen horizontally in the middle of your teeth and slowly close your mouth without dropping the pen. Finally try to vibrate your tongue by saying the letter R, for five or ten seconds (the sound is like a motor or like cats when they sleep). Do it two or three times a week and when your tongue gets used to producing that sound try to do it without the pen. I know, it sounds weird but it works.

First1000Hours youtube Why & How I Use LingQ to Read Spanish Books Created for Native Speakers Faster ~ Live Video
Several times my language learning motivational partner had told me that I should try LingQ. After several months, I finally did, in the middle of me reading my second Spanish book, Palabras De Vida Del Gran Maestro. I immediately saw a huge difference in how I was reading before. I could read books in Spanish faster with LingQ. However, for me LingQ required a slight learning curve, and I want to do this live video with you so that not only I can share how LingQ helps me read Spanish books faster, but I can answer some of your questions you may have about LingQ in real time.
If you want to start off with a shorter book, I would recommend read El Camino a Cristo (English title: Steps to Christ)

frenchtogether.com/ FluentU Review: Learn French With Videos
So, what’s the big deal, you might be wondering? You could just search for French videos on YouTube, yourself. Trust me, the people who created FluentU know that, too, so they took this idea to the next level. Instead of just having videos to watch, or videos with those YouTube-generated subtitles, which are often inaccurate or too slow or fast, FluentU’s platform has its own really neat subtitles.
Not only are they accurate and correctly matched with what’s being said in a video; if you don’t know a word, you can hover over it and the video will pause. Then, you’ll hear the word and see a little box with a definition and illustration. Very helpful!
…
For beginner and intermediate learners, another helpful feature is that you can slow down the speech in the videos. It doesn’t sound weirdly or comically distorted, and it will help you practice your listening and/or pronunciation skills.
So to sum up, here are the pros of FluentU:
- A large selection of videos, on a great variety of subjects.
- Videos that French people actually watch.
- French subtitles that allow you to click on a word you don’t know for an instant definition.
- Words you don’t know are automatically saved so that you can quiz yourself on them later.
- Images help you remember vocabulary words.
- Personalized vocabulary quizzes and a course based on your specific challenges.
- FluentU apps for Android and iOs.
- Available in French, Chinese, Spanish, Russian, English, German, Japanese, Italian and Korean.

“El Rey” (English: “The King”) is a 1971 song by José Alfredo Jiménez. It is one of his best known songs and a Latin Grammy Hall of Fame Award recipient.[1][2][3][4]
A chart published by Record World credited “El Rey” as reaching #1 in Mexico in 1974,[5] a year after Jiménez’ death.
Encyclopedia of Latino Popular Culture - Volume 1 - Page 395: José Alfredo Jiménez Sandoval was México’s most prolific and well-respected composer of vernacular music during the mid-twentieth century and remains a beloved singer among Mexicans and Chicanas/os in the United States. He is best known for his *canciones *rancheras, which include “El Rey” (The King), “Ella” (She), “Yo” (I), “Tu y las nubes” (You and the Clouds),
Ilan Stavans: “El rey” is a popular Mexican song written by José Alfredo Jiménez (January 19, 1926–November 23, 1973), a musician with no musical training who is known for the large repertoire of lyrics that he wrote, among them “Amanecí en tus brazos” (I Woke Up in Your Arms) and “El caballo blanco” (White Horse). “El rey” is about a macho guy convinced his rough-and-tumble life doesn’t preclude him from remaining the king among his peers.
